Everything you need to know about the K-beauty brand Glow Recipe

What is Glow Recipe?

Sarah Lee and Christine Chang are Co-Founders of the pretty skincare collection. They've been working on curating Korean beauty since November 2014 after dreaming up the idea during the summer months. The two are on a mission to demystify Korean beauty, sharing the secret recipe to the SoKo glow and making K-beauty accessible to beauty-obsessed women everywhere!

Some days I don't like using a thick moisturiser or a deep cleanser so a little change-up of my usual routine is always welcomed. Since the Glow Recipe was officially born, they have been curating K-beauty, appeared on Shark Tank in 2015 (honestly the bravery of these two!) and held a pop up store in Soho.

Sarah and Christine had been curating K-beauty for years when they decided to launch their own skincare line in May 2017 with Glow Recipe. They started with two goodies in the fruit-themed skincare range, Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser, and everyone's favourite, the Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask.

I absolutely love this little quote from them, it sums up how creating a product that not only looks cute but is also functional is a long and serious process.

"It took us 1,620 formulas, 49 packaging updates, and 8 trips to Korea to perfect the formulas and had already started working on new, state-of-the-art products."

As of July this year, they're committing all of their time to develop products for Glow Recipe and their other brand Sweet Chef (also super cute).

I wish I knew about this brand sooner, I absolutely love their brand mission and I have fallen in love with the adorable packaging. These are lovely to have on display in the bathroom on in my beauty room!

I have been using four products from the Glow Recipe range, the Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask, Watermelon Glow Pink Juice Moisturizer, Blueberry Bounce Gentle Cleanser and the Avocado Melt Sleeping Mask.
