We’ve all heard about the now cult-like products and I couldn’t wait to try them myself.

Let’s start with a little bit about Bangn Body to start with just to give you a quick run down They’re a new Australian company, both vegan and cruelty-free - hooray! They’re focused on skin health and anti-aging as a “preventative and natural solution to tired and damaged skin” with no nasty chemicals. Sounds absolutely perfect, right?

I have been using three of their main products that come in a convenient pack called the Ultimate Glow Bundle. The three products are described as the three steps to take to achieve the look of a glowing goddess. To start, use the Smooth Skin Scrub, then the Firming Lotion and finish off with the Lip & Eye Beauty Balm.

The packaging is aluminum tubes, a very luxe insta-vibe for right now and the zip-up case is super cute. Perfect for keeping your Bangn Body products altogether, reusing again for travel, or heading to the beach.

Smooth Skin Scrub Review

Are you ready to become as obsessed with this as I am? It’s called a two-in-one face and body coffee moose scrub, gentle enough for your face but good enough to exfoliate those pesky dry or bumpy areas.

My skin always looks plump and revitalised after using the scrub! The physical motion of massage can help to increase blood flow, encouraging healing in the deeper skin layers. Most of all, I’ve found that it helps the top layers of my skin to look bright and hydrated from removing any dead skin on the surface. I have been using this once a week. Be careful not to use this too often, you don’t want to dry out your skin by scrubbing all the good stuff off too often!

Bangn Body Firming Lotion review

I have never used a body firming lotion before, this is the first one I’ve used! I haven’t used it long enough to report back on how it works on cellulite areas etc but I can tell you that it works well with my general skin texture.

What does the Bangn Body Firming Lotion do?

Known to reduce redness, smooth bumps, and help with breakouts. It has anti-inflammatory properties.
Increases skin circulation, collagen production and blood flow. This is supposed to help reduce cellulite, stretch marks and scarring.
Brightens and hydrates skin
Firms and tightens skin
Fights free radical damage and slows down the ageing process

My opinion on the Firming Lotion

This miracle lotion has so many bold claims! As I mentioned, I haven’t been using it long enough to comment on the anti-ageing factors but I can definitely vouch for the lotion feeling good on my skin! It’s not oily so I don’t feel as though my pores are being clogged. In fact, I noticed it had helped clear up my skin when I had quite a few angry spots come up last week.

The ingredients sound incredible for skin, so I can see why it worked amazing for calming down my skin as an inflammatory. It contains coconut oil, sun flower oil, jojoba seed oil, aloe vera leaf oil, shea butter, green coffee bean extract, avocado oil and pineapple fruit extract.

How to Use Bangn body firming lotion

On your body - I have found the lotion to be obviously super hydrating on my body. I use it over the driest areas around my elbows, knees and ankles. I also love putting it on my upper chest/neck area before bed because sometimes I sleep funny on my side and make it wrinkly during the night! It isn’t oily and I can jump into bed straight after applying it. I find it best to use it after a shower at night or first thing in the morning.
On your face - I have found it to be great as a daily moisturiser! The Firming Body Lotion doesn’t feel like it’s clogging my pores because it is so lightweight. Use as your daily facial moisturiser.
As a makeup Primer - Ideal for applying before the foundation to keep skin hydrated throughout the day. I always find that my makeup lasts longer throughout the day when I wear a moisturiser!
Hand Cream - I keep my tube on my desk at work so I remember to moisturise throughout the day, especially when I’m always using so much hand sanitiser.

Lip & Eye Beauty Balm

Claimed to be the “ultimate time saving, multi-tasking beauty balm to nourish & hydrate delicate lips and brighten eyes”, this beauty balm has a lot to live up to!

I have found that I mostly use this balm on my lips during the day and I wear it as an under-eye cream before bed.

On the lips

It’s quite an oily feeling lip product, I wouldn’t quite call it a balm - more of a lip oil? The tube is When it comes out of the tube, it looks like a similar texture to a lip scrub from Lush but it quickly smooths out into oil with warmth.

On the lips, I don’t find it lasts too long. Whether it soaks in quickly or is wiped off with food/general talking, I’m not sure. The product doesn’t sit on my lips for too long but my lips do not feel dry. I normally apply this twice a day and before bed. Comparing this to other lip balms, I wouldn’t say it’s my absolute favourite but it is in my top 5 because I love how it isn’t sticky at all!

It’s also in an aluminum tube with a luxe feel and look, perfect for those Instagram snaps.

On the eyes

I’m not sure if I’ll keep using this as an eye cream but the beauty balm works very similarly to how when I use it on my lips. It’s the smooth, non-sticky formula that is a little bit oily but easy to massage into the skin. I don’t mind using this under my eyes and on fine lines. It’s a good alternative but I think I’ll stick with my Lamer eye cream for now.

Overview

I hope you found my mini-reviews useful! I have loved trying out these cult products so far and I can’t wait to see the long term effects after using them for a few months. I have been using them for 3 weeks as I am writing this. I always use products for 2 3 weeks before reviewing, just to allow for enough time to see some results or report back to you guys on my skin reactions, etc.
