Recreating Pinterest Photos: Lift Photos
How to take Instagram Photos, Pinterest Edition
Pinterest outfit inspo rules my wardrobe lately but even more so, it’s been a great place to find photo ideas!
Sometimes we do just run out of creative juices and need a bit of direction. I have posted a video here on my TikTok with the process of recreating these photos, along with a whole bunch of helpful IG and Pinterest tips too.
The two photos on the right have been saved to my inspiration board for a while so I thought I’d try them out!
The Final Edits:
I loved how these photos turned out but it was a lot harder than I expected it to be. I have a few tips if you’re wanting to take photos like this yourself.
Tips for taking Lift Photos:
Position your tripod or photo-taking friend in the opposite corner from you. Especially if you’re in a super small lift.
Angle the camera upwards to you, an interesting angle is always better than a straight-on photo and it always makes an outfit look better too.
Stand near the elevator buttons! You will want to keep hitting the ‘doors open’ button while you’re taking photos so you can stay on one level and no one can walk in mid-shoot.
Jump out of the lift to check your pictures. Someone else might be trying to call the lift!
Try to find a lift that’s not going to be in use a lot. Definitely not somewhere abandoned but somewhere that doesn’t inconvenience a lot of other people. I used a lift on top of a parking garage and we just parked up and got out there.
Try to move around, these photos look like you’re busy/ on your way somewhere. I used a blurring effect in Picsart.
Tag me if you try out some Lift Photos! I can’t wait to see and share the love on your posts xx
