Transeasonal Spring to Summer Outfit Ideas with Glassons
It’s time for another Glassons haul! Here are a few outfit ideas for Summer and the end of Spring. Hopefully, it gets your own styling juices flowing!
I have so many of their pieces in my wardrobe, I pretty much own the whole store by now, surely. I love it when the seasons change from Spring to Summer. The days get longer, warmer and the mornings are brighter! It also means it’s time to whip out the skirts and strappy heels because I’m not going to get frostbite in this weather!
If you’ve been here before, you’ll know that I am working with Glassons to create Instagram content. I chatted about the collaboration in a recent styling blog post here. I love posting my outfits to Instagram but I think it’s nice for you to find the exact links on my blog and check the prices of things too!
Most days have been bright, sunny weather so I’ve been dressing for it. Let me know your favourite pieces from below!
Sage green for Spring
Silky Midi Skirt $39.99
I can’t say no to a silky skirt, especially when it’s sage green! I have loved styling this a few different ways already but I absolutely love it with a pair of strappy sandals and a white crop.
It’s the perfect in-between styling piece when a short skirt isn’t really appropriate but a maxi skirt doesn’t fit the brief. Style this with a tight crop, a loose one or even with a baggy band T-shirt and a denim jacket. I’m going to stop listing ways to style this because I could go on forever.
White Statement Pieces
White Wide Leg Pants + One Shoulder Ribbed Crop
I’m not-so-secretly styling everything with sage green! I always go for bright Summer whites as the weather gets warmer. Not only is it physically cooler to wear, it makes me feel like I’m about to step on a plane to Italy and enjoy an Aperol in a crisp white outfit overlooking the coastline. For the moment, I’ll just stick to avoiding darker clothes and hoping that bright clothes will bring out the sunshine.
And it was all, yellow…
Matching Yellow Suit Set
Embracing ‘working girl vibes’ with a casual version of the power suit. Looks like these always refer back to the 80’s, especially if you’re pairing it with a croc print bag! The suit set has made a comeback recently with elaborate structured and masculine features in some while others are tailored and feminine. I think it’s great to experiment with both fits to find what you feel most comfortable in. In this instance, the bright colour take the serious edge off the look, plus shorts are definitely super casual. You can’t have a bad day in sunshine yellow, right?
